Routine slapstick comedy revolves around an advertiser's attempt to launch a successful campaign for a soup company. The angle is to find a Mr. Manhattan, who must then choose a Miss Brooklyn as his bride. Payne plays the contestant winner who chooses Kane as his mate. Story ends on a pie-throwing note. Songs include: "I'd Like to Play a Love Scene" (Sam Coslow) and "I Want a New Romance" (Coslow, Burton Lane). leave a comment
