I Love A Soldier: Review
Goddard is a welder during WW II who won't become a war bride. She helps the war effort by working as an evening hostess at USO base. There she meets and becomes romantically involved with soldier Tufts. She leaves him twice: the first time because he's married, though she discovers that he's in the process of getting a divorce; the second time because she feels she'll be on his mind during battle, increasing his chances of being killed.
