Love On The Riviera

Another Italian romantic-comedy anthology, this one containing five vignettes. The first details the doomed romance of a police officer and his female prisoner who become lovers after being left behind by the train that is transporting her to prison. Although he loves her, the officer cannot betray his duty, so he finishes his mission. In the second, brief segment, the efforts of a gigolo to bilk a young opera diva are frustrated by the girl's mother, who insists they wed.
