Crime drama starring Luporini as a starving engineering student who concocts a plan to raise some money with the help of his friend, Pizzorni, the son of a wealthy businessman. Pizzorni agrees to fake his own kidnaping and hide out at Luporini's apartment until his father pays the ransom. All goes smoothly until Luporini's girl friend, Incontrera, and her bookworm friend, Jeanine, arrive.
