Boyer plays a matchmaker on the French Riviera, trying to wed heiress Lange to Montalban, who's been groomed for the part. Ford is hired by Boyer as Lange's chauffeur and to help Montalban. In the process, however, Lange and Ford fall for each other--with everyone else winding up in love too. LOVE IS A BALL was filmed on location on the Riviera. Though the naive script lacks believability, expert performances make this picture entertaining. leave a comment
