OF LOVE AND DESIRE, Oberon's bizzare return to the screen after an absence of seven years, was shot in her actual 16th-century villa in Mexico and tells the sordid tale of a socialite's emotional life. Oberon lives with her half-brother, Jurgens, who is sexually obsessed with her. Enter American engineer Cochran, whom Jurgens has hired for some mining operations.
