As far as children's entertainment goes, you can't beat a good dog story for providing the necessary assortment of thrills. FOR THE LOVE OF BENJI fits the bill with one of the most expressive dogs (and actors, for that matter) to come out of Hollywood. The adorable canine in this film is
a 2-year-old look-alike replacement for the original Benji. While in Greece, Benji is drugged and kidnaped by Nelson, who imprints a coded message on the pooch's paw. Benji then proceeds to wander through Greece, getting in and out of trouble while eluding crooks. A great one for the kids.
