Dreadful attempt at comedy has Aykroyd as a blind man and the object of McDonald's love. They want to get married, but Murray, McDonald's father, doesn't want a blind son-in-law. But the two persist. The storyline is never fully developed and depends too much on jokes that are either
predictable or just not funny. Nonetheless, the cast manages to take their parts seriously and to deliver some worthwhile performances. Dionne Warwick sings the title song.
