A wacky satire/black comedy with high school senior McDowall helping schoolmate Weld get whatever she desires. McDowall's IQ is so high he knows what everyone wants before they speak. He gets Weld into the sorority of her choice and ensures she will get good grades by getting her a secretarial job with the high school principal, Korman. She meets West, a rich college senior, at a sex seminar at a drive-in church. Weld is tested for a beach party movie with West's help, but problems arise when West's mother, Gordon, doesn't approve of Weld. McDowall fixes that by introducing Gordon to booze. Weld's mother, Albright, kills herself when she thinks she has ruined her daughter's relationship and life. Weld and West marry and he becomes a marriage counselor. When he objects to his wife's movie career, McDowall decides to get rid of him. His attempts fail until he runs him over at the high school graduation with a bulldozer (killing everyone on the speaker's platform as well). The film is told in flashback with McDowall in the prison psychiatric wing telling his story to a tape recorder.
