Calhoun and his Army buddy Danton climb Pike's Peak to rescue the survivors of a plane crash. Adams, an artist's model; Faylen, a Navy petty officer; Gomez, a brokerage clerk; and Williams, the injured copilot, are the only survivors. The plane was also carrying $250,000. Danton teams with Gomez to force Calhoun to lead them back down the mountain, planning to kill everyone when they are out of the wilderness.
