A soap opera-like, low-budget film about three generations of a modern middle-class New York Jewish family. Most of the cast are soap opera actors. Chris, the main character, tries to get a fast-food franchise to help her husband's seltzer business. In addition, she must contend with a
daughter popping pills and the care of her daughter's two neglected children. One of her sisters has a husband who is indicted in a real estate scam, which destroys the marriage prospects for their daughter. To top it off, Chris discovers that her own husband fathered her sister's daughter. What
makes soap operas watchable is engaging characters, and this is where the film fails hand...
