Radio stars Edgar Bergen and Fibber McGee and Molly are top-billed in this B comedy. Bergen has his airplane factory built in Wistful Vista (McGee and Molly's radio hometown). Ball is Bergen's secretary who almost marries Bonnell, Bergen's business manager, but ends up in Bergen's arms.
Halton is Bergen's rival and Hamilton is Bergen's millionaire friend who buys McGee's property to build an airport. Peary, as The Great Gildersleeve, is McGee's pal and unwitting aid to Halton's schemes to ruin Bergen. The popularity of Peary's character led to four more pictures starring him in
the role of Gildersleeve.
