An overblown adventure picture set in the 1920s stars Howard as a British police officer in India who opposes his country's treatment of the local Bhantas. Their leader, Brynner, is regarded as a dangerous man by the British, so, when he resolves to free his people, the English send Howard out to capture the rebel.
