Wayne returns to his home in Texas after serving with the Union army and finds the state overrun by corrupt carpetbaggers. The governor, Flint, hires Wayne to clean up the state, and the Duke always takes care of business. At first he has problems getting help from the ranchers and townspeople because he was a Union soldier, but in the end they help out. leave a comment
