In this remake of the 1930 film of the same name, former football player Kimbrough stars as a Texas Ranger on the trail of a gang of crooks led by Hale and Farnum who are gathering up Texas land for themselves by scaring off potential buyers. Kimbrough befriends Ryan, the niece of Hale,
who doesn't know about her uncle's illegal doings. Through Ryan, he traps Hale and brings the outlaw gang to justice.
