Pity poor Sylvester Stallone, whose macho everyman must once again suffer the slings and arrows of a cruel and heartless society! In LOCK UP, Frank Leone (Stallone) is a basically decent guy who has been serving time in prison after putting a mean hurt on a group of thugs who roughed up his elderly mentor. Earlier, when sadistic Warden Drumgoole (Donald Sutherland) refused to let model-prisoner Frank out of jail on a weekend pass to visit his dying mentor, Frank escaped and went to the media with tales of Drumgoole's abuse of inmates.
