Charming, whimsical and nearly perfect. Scottish writer-director Bill Forsyth proves that you don't need a lot of money to make a great film. Peter Riegert stars as an ambitious young executive of a U.S. oil company (run by a hilariously guilt-ridden Burt Lancaster) who is dispatched to Scotland to buy an entire town so the company can drill for North Sea oil.
