This pitiful waste of celluloid concerns a super-famous country-rock star who wears glittery clothes, takes pills, lives a high-pressure life, is pursued by crazed fans, and has a conniving manager. It may sound like the Elvis Presley story, but the disclaimer tells us this can't be--we're
supposed to believe that the casting of Ginger Alden, Elvis' companion at the time of his death, is purely coincidental. Earl Owensby lip-synchs some good songs, which are actually sung by Roy Orbison.
