Two Living, One Dead

While tallying the day's receipts one night, three postal workers are surprised by two robbers. Vaughan is killed during the holdup, and Travers is badly wounded in the head. McGoohan gives the thieves the money but later is treated like a coward. Travers is treated like a hero and is rewarded with a promotion that originally was to have been McGoohan's. McGoohan's wife, McKenna, postal authorities, and the police begin to suspect that McGoohan was in cohoots with the robbers.
