This remake of JOHNNY DARK (1954) replaces Tony Curtis with James Darren as Casey Owens, an ex-GI and college dropout who cares more for cars than girls and works in his father's garage on a new gas turbine engine. When he meets Eadie (Pamela Tiffin), the sister of his hot-rodding buddy Chuck (Doug McClure), his interests broaden.
