A sentimental tale about a GI who falls for a girl he's never seen after writing to her and hearing about the luxurious life she leads. The girl, Lee, is really confined to a wheelchair and her two sisters barely make enough money as scrub-girls to get by. When the GI arrives, the girls switch identities and pretend to be socialites. Without knowing Lee's true identity he falls for her and, even after the truth comes out, stays by her side. leave a comment
