One Little Indian

Garner plays a deserter from the U.S. Cavalry sentenced to hang after disregarding orders. His crime was saving the lives of Indian women and children during a raid. During his trek through the desert on a camel, he comes across a young white boy, O'Brien, who was raised as an Indian and is trying to get back to his lost tribe. Garner takes the boy under his wing as he escapes pursuit by Woodward, hiding at the ranch of Miles. Sincere portrayals give this rather bland story some life, with the camel holding up the comic end.
