Little Flames

This strange childhood fantasy is too gruesome for children but too cute for adults. LITTLE FLAMES tells, from a child's point of view, the story of a darling five-year-old Italian boy, Dino Jakosic, whose lovable face hides an evil interior. Jakosic is too much for his otherwise loving parents to handle. They both lead busy lives, hiring live-in maids to care for him. He also has three imaginary playmates who live in his bedroom--a nasty bearded little king, a fire-breathing dragon, and an alien robot. The three playmates (actors in elaborate costumes, much like the Jim Henson puppetry of films such as THE DARK CRYSTAL and DREAMCHILD) play mean tricks on the maids...
