Little Egypt

An entertaining but rather shallow programmer, LITTLE EGYPT uses as a backdrop figure the famous cooch dancer who wiggled her belly for the boys at the 1893 Chicago Exposition, bringing down a wrathful storm from reform groups who found her dances obscene. Stevens is a con man who is joined by the opportunistic, red-headed, statuesque Fleming, a girl from the New Jersey slums. They are both after Watson's millions and go through an elaborate scheme to bilk the tobacco tycoon.
