Little Accident

1939, Movie, NR, 65 mins

Herbert is a newspaper advice columnist who needs counseling himself when a little bundle of joy, Baby Sandy Henville, is dumped on his desk. From there on it's a series of cute antics involving the baby and every adult in the film. This was Baby Sandy's third film and the first one in which she plays a girl. She's a born scene stealer, greatly helped by lots of "cute-kid" shots plastered all over the screen. The grownups are either irritated by her (like Kennedy, in another one of his masterful "slow burns") or find the antics of the precocious brat adorable. This remake of the 1930 film was tailor-made for Baby Sandy. The story was done once more as CASANOVA BROWN in 1944. leave a comment
