Based on the novel by espionage writer Gardner, this Bond-style feature finds Taylor as a playboy who's afraid to fly and gets sick at the sight of blood. He is not the spy type but he did save Howard's life during WW II and that is good enough for Howard. He sets up his old comrade with expensive penthouses, cars, and women, eventually springing on Taylor that his mission is to be an assassin for hire.
