Sheffield, who played Boy in the "Tarzan" films, got his chance at his own Tarzan-like role here, playing the young white boy who grows up in the jungle. The "Bomba" series was not one of Monogram's best efforts, though the kids did (and still do) enjoy the films. Here, Bomba stops some evil lion hunters in a pre-Rachel Carson plot.
