Novelist Knox checks out the action at a local nightclub to get background material for her next book. Her husband is out of town on business and knows nothing about this. As it turns out, his boss (Richards) is dating a stripper (Wilson) and shows up at the club. Knox blackmails him into promoting her hubby so she won't spill the beans about where and with whom he spends time and money. This is a mildly amusing comedy with some good musical numbers by Sir Lancelot. The script is a little underwritten, but the straightforward direction and some tight editing help smooth things out. leave a comment
