As You Like It: Review

One of the first sound adaptations of a Shakespeare play, and a solid job all around. Rosalind (Elisabeth Bergner), the daughter of the exiled Duke (Henry Ainley), falls in love with Orlando (Laurence Olivier), the son of one of her father's courtiers. Orlando is very proper and reserved, so in order to get his attention and gain his favor, she diguises herself as a boy and pursues him. Read the complete review for As You Like It
