A thin plot heavily laden with many of Neil Simon's best one-liners makes this a pleasant way to spend 102 minutes. Chevy Chase is forced to abet some bank robbers, and soon the cops are after him. His ex-wife, Goldie Hawn, is a liberal lawyer married to the local district attorney, Charles Grodin. When Chase arrives at their home seeking shelter, she takes him in.
