Uncle Earl (Bill Morrison), an archaeologist, gets hold of a mind-switching drug from some Navajo Indians. His teenage nephew, Trigger (Sean Astin), finds the mysterious potion when Uncle Earl visits and decides to let his pal Chris (Kirk Cameron) in on his discovery. Chris' father (Dudley Moore) inadvertently ingests the potion, and, as quick as you can say BIG or VICE VERSA or 18 AGAIN!, father and son switch personalities. LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON is idiotic at times, cute at others. Cameron shows a lot of charm, and the movie is a pleasant diversion. leave a comment
