Rogers is the proprietor of a hotel near Reno, Nevada, and the majority of his guests are women en route to and from the town where they obtain quickie divorces. This was a successful play in 1918, offering a role Rogers really wanted. He's perfect as the wise sage, spinning humorous
stories and providing advice with the right mix of innocence and maturity. There's no real story, just wonderful performances by Rogers and his supporting players.
