Lifeboat: Review

With its single set and excellent ensemble cast, this is one of Alfred Hitchcock's most intense thrillers. After their ship is torpedoed by a German U-boat, a handful of survivors — including Tallulah Bankhead, John Hodiak and Hume Cronyn — climb aboard a lifeboat and are set adrift on the treacherous seas.
