Cinematographer Ronald Neame takes his first crack at directing in this film about an opera star's husband who is framed on a murder charge. All the evidence points to him since he was the dead woman's ex-fiance; only his wife believes he is innocent. The only evidence is some written music on a piece of torn paper. With this clue, Gynt embarks on a plan to clear her husband's name and she succeeds. leave a comment
