Tepid teenage Cinderella tale features Anders as the not-so-beautiful younger sister of Johnson. Damon wants to date the older girl so he uses the young sibling in order to get to Johnson. But Anders discovers she's being badly used and in order to get revenge she announces that Damon is
the father of her nonexistent child-to-be. Aimed at the typical teenaged audience of the late 1950s, this is well acted and directed for what it is. It was advertised as "a family drama of adolescent love." The mostly teenage cast handles the script fairly well. Byrnes, who was a national star
with his television show "77 Sunset Strip," is featured as Johnson's boy friend.
