When some important documents are stolen, naval hero Williams is framed by his commander's son. Things don't look good for him until love interest Fitzgerald is kidnaped by Chinese pirates. Williams rescues her from the nefarious villains and manages to prove his innocence at the same time
in this rousing, up-and-at'-em adventure. This story was taken from a silent and projects many of the same filmmaking values. There's a hearty sense of daring coupled with a genuine naive goodness that makes this an enjoyable feature. Naturally, it's full of improbabilities, but that's half the
fun.
