Let's Do It Again

1953, Movie, NR, 95 mins

Wyman is married to womanizing composer Milland and sets out to give him some of his own medicine. She has a harmless affair, but her ploy backfires, and the couple get a divorce. Once separated, they try every way to make each other jealous. Wyman is chased by Alaskan millionaire Ray, and Milland uses Booth to try to win back his wife. The film lacks any surprises; it is obvious Wyman and Milland will get back together. LET'S DO IT AGAIN was a musical remake of Columbia's THE AWFUL TRUTH (1937). The songs include "Call of the Wild," "Give Me a Man Who Makes Music," "There Are Things I Remember," " Anyone" (Lester Lee, Ned Washington), "Takin' a Slow Burn" (Lee, Washington--sung by Jane Wyman), and "Anyone But You" (Lee, Washington--sung by Dick Haymes). leave a comment
