Formby is a ukelele player in Norway who's mistaken for a Nazi spy. German agents think that the musician is one of their own, and Formby gets entangled in a number of comic situations with them. In the end, Formby reveals band leader Marsh as the real spy. This was the first of the famed Ealing Studios comedies to deal directly with WW II. Many more were to follow.
