Let Us Be Gay

When she finds that husband La Rocque has been cheating on her, Shearer divorces him and travels to Paris. There she is transformed from a plain housewife into a glamorous sophisticate. Dressler, a wealthy old woman, wants Shearer to help end the affair between Dressler's granddaughter, Hedda Hopper, and La Rocque. Shearer returns to the States and throws a party with La Rocque and Hopper among the guests. La Rocque doesn't recognize his ex-wife at first, but when he does, the old flame is rekindled and they are reunited.
