Four soldiers--an Englishman, a Scotsman, a Welshman, and an Irishman--are trapped in a foxhole during a heavy battle. The quartet vow to meet after the war, should they survive. Of course they do survive and a reunion is planned. However, Rome, the Englishman, has come on hard times in
postwar life and is experiencing financial troubles. Rather than let his friends know of his troubles, Rome feigns great wealth when the quartet is reunited. This film followed the 1932 REUNION, which employed the same star (Rome), producer, and writer.
