The Leopard Man: Review

Another superbly atmospheric thriller from producer Val Lewton and director Jacques Tourneur (Cat People, I Walked With a Zombie). A public relations man (Miles O'Keefe) from a New Mexico nightclub rents a leopard as a publicity stunt. The animal escapes, and a series of savage killings begins. Lewton proves once again that a big budget is not the most important element in good filmmaking, and what you can see isn't half as scary as what you can't.
