A would-be actor (Donald Most) moves to Hollywood, hoping to break into the movies, and meets the daughter of an Oscar-winning actor who is also trying to get into pictures (Purl). Their romance and fledgling film careers are at the center of this somewhat awkward, occasionally charming little film. As a feature film it's passable, but the material and cast are better suited to a television-movie format. Most, director Jerry Paris, and executive producer Ron Howard (who was on the verge of a strong directing career himself) were all veterans of the popular TV sitcom "Happy Days." leave a comment
