The Legend Of Tom Dooley: Review

The film is based on a traditional folk song made popular in the late 1950s by the Kingston Trio (the group sings the song over the titles). A very somber western, with Landon in the title role as a Confederate soldier who robs a Union stagecoach along with Pollock and Rust and kills two soldiers, not knowing the war is over.
