A pleasant debut feature from Bernard Stora that was released in France in 1983 but didn't play to US audiences until 1985. Richard Berry stars as a construction worker from the south of France who marries his sweetheart only to become enamoured of a lovely young wedding guest after the
ceremony ends. The situation is typically French and predictable, but the fine performances from Berry, Richard Anconina, and lovely screen veteran Brigitte Fossey (who is best remembered for the role she played as a five-year-old in FORBIDDEN GAMES) make the film work. (In French; English
