Lazy River

Bayou belle Parker is a charmer as she helps three ex-convicts, Healy, Pendleton, and ne'er-do-well scion of wealth Young, to follow the path of righteousness. They take the path in their own peculiar style, robbing a rascal's riverboat safe to assist an old woman who would otherwise have lost her store. The improbable villain, the half-Chinese Gordon, overacts prodigiously as we see how he filled his safe, smuggling contraband Chinese emigrants into the country, then dumping their weighted bodies overboard when approached by authorities.
