Two innocent lovers, Shirley and Bond, get caught up in the gang activities of Morris, a "respectable" citizen who keeps his underworld dealings a secret. The trouble occurs when the lovers are framed for a jewelry store robbery during which a clerk is killed. They are arrested and it is up to Morris to let them be executed or admit to his underworld connections. He puts his own life on the line in the finale.
