The first of 11 westerns produced by Lyles, this film features a number of veteran stars from the 1930s through 1950s. Robertson is a gunfighter-turned-judge who butts heads with MacLane after sentencing the latter's son to die. MacLane tries to rally the locals into shooting Robertson,
but his efforts backfire. A bit lacking in action, this is still enjoyable, if only to see some familiar old faces back in action.
