MGM reunites its two stars from ESKIMO, Mala and Long, and sends them to the South Sea islands in this film based on Herman Melville's novel
Typee. The story covers the pair's romantic adventures and their battles with nature. In between their romancing, they overcome numerous island
obstacles, including an underwater battle with a shark, a cave-in at some tropical mines, and a hurricane. There's also lots of hula dancing. In the end, love conquers all.
