This comeback for Carlisle stars her as the vocalist of a chamber music quintet that has seen better days. They lose their nightclub gig when a scheming orchestra manager persuades nightclub owner Carrillo to book his orchestra. Frawley, as the manager, concocts the story that orchestra vocalist Jones is heir to a fortune, and that Carrillo, by giving the band a spot, can get a chunk of the inheritance.
