Model Brooks, on a visit to her godmother in the country, finds that the woman has vanished. She convinces doctor Houston to help her look for the old woman, but ends up captured by the same gang of robbers who have kidnaped the godmother. The group is hiding out at her house and using it
as a base of operations. In the end, Houston arrives on the scene with a squad of police, and justice prevails. Allegedly a comedy-thriller, the thriller part works much better than the comedy.
